On Saturday, June 15, as we were setting up for our Columbia City Night Market, our generator was stolen. Additionally, we recently experienced the loss of two wagons taken from our storage. These thefts have severely inconvenienced our small grassroots nonprofit organization, setting us back financially.

Our mission is to promote entrepreneurs and small businesses, and advance community development. Despite these setbacks, our spirit and determination remain strong. We are committed to building a vibrant community and thriving businesses.

We are reaching out to ask for your support to help us recover from these losses. Your contributions will directly assist in replacing the stolen equipment and ensuring that the Columbia City Night Market continues to be a place of joy, connection, and growth for everyone.

Peace Peloton is a community-focused organization committed to creating positive change and helping individuals, businesses, and communities thrive through programs that promote healthy lifestyles, and community building, and that stimulate growth and success for businesses with Black owners. As we continue to grow and expand our programs, we recognize the need for additional support to ensure we can continue to meet the needs of our community. To that end, we are launching this campaign to raise funds to hire two full-time employees at a salary of $70,000 each.

These employees will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission and expand our reach. They will work closely with leadership to develop and implement new programs, manage day-to-day operations, and coordinate outreach efforts with our community partners.
