About Permanent Forum of Binational Waters
The Permanent Forum of Binational Waters is a nonprofit, transboundary, and multidisciplinary institution of scientists and experts dedicated to integrate collaboration efforts and improve the water resilience of vulnerable communities in the Mexico-US border through scientific research, effective communication, and targeted educational programs. The PFBW has developed virtual initiatives to raise awareness and foster cooperation on shared water issues along the border. Given its large network of ~ 260 members located in Mexico and the U.S., the Forum is able to provide, develop and communicate reliable and science-based information. To enhance equity and inclusion of different sectors and vulnerable communities, all initiatives and programs developed by the Forum are free and bilingual.
