Premier Dépistage Néonatal de la Drépanocytose en République du Congo

L'Hôpital Général Adolphe SICE, en collaboration avec la Fondation Petronille Healthy Society, organise pour la toute première fois en République du Congo un programme de dépistage chez les nouveau-nés pour la drépanocytose.

Cette initiative vitale vise à identifier et à traiter les nourrissons affectés dès leur naissance, leur offrant ainsi une meilleure chance de mener une vie en bonne santé.

Le programme se déroulera dans les centres suivants :

C'est un événement historique pour notre pays, car c'est la première fois que nous mettons en place un tel programme de dépistage à l'échelle nationale. Il marque un tournant dans la lutte contre la drépanocytose, une maladie génétique qui touche un grand nombre d'enfants dans notre communauté.
