Hi! We're the Philly Pies. Please join us for our third year supporting Philabundance on their mission to end hunger in the greater Philadelphia area. Donate to receive colored art and raffle tickets in a thank you message sent to your email address. Over the last two years we have raised over $13,000 for Philabundance with your help, and we are proud to support them once again.
You can download coloring pages from
https://tinyurl.com/3u92nher If you share them with @philly_pies on twitter and include the hashtag #PhillyPieDay23 and a link to this GoFundMe, you will be entered to win a pack of tlopps cards. Share up to 3 different coloring pages for up to 3 chances to win! More coloring pages will be added to the folder each day, so check back in for more lovely coloring pages!
You can also vote in our bird bracket on twitter @philly_pies to democratically determine which bird is best. You can make a bracket prediction at
https://challonge.com/piedaybirds if it's still before March 12th EST.
In their thank you email donors will receive a link to a google form where they can redeem the value of their donation in raffle tickets to win prizes donated by Blaseball Cares and Philly Pies fans. Prizes in the raffle include: a Richmond Harrison plush, packs of tlopps cards, and both physical and digital custom art!
Stay tuned to @philly_pies on twitter and the #pie-day channel on the Blaseball discord for more information throughout the event. Go Pies!
About Philabundance
Philabundance is Philadelphia's largest hunger relief organization. They serve 9 counties in the Philadelphia area and collaborate with 350 partner organizations to help distribute nutritious, culturally responsive, equitably sourced, and accessible food to those in need. They partner with grocers and farmers to rescue food that would otherwise go to waste.
The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic drastically increased the community's need for food support, so Philabundance has doubled the amount of food it serves annually from pre-pandemic levels. In 2021 alone, Philabundance distributed 52 million pounds of food, including 15 million pounds of fruits and vegetables.
Philabundance's Community Kitchen is a culinary vocational training program that Philabundance runs. It helps low-income and unemployed students prepare to enter the food service industry while they cook meals for neighbors in need. In 2021 alone they produced 400,000 meals for area seniors, shelters, and community centers.
Philabundance has realized that holistic support can better help individuals support themselves and their families. In their Ending Hunger for Good initiative, Philabundance has partnered with community organizations to provide housing, health services, and life skills as needed to people their clients.
