About Phoenix Wildlife Center, Inc.

The Phoenix Wildlife Center has been taking care of injured and orphaned native Maryland wildlife for 18 years. Licensed in the State of Maryland, we hold permits to rehabilitate everything from bats to bald eagles. In 2017 we rehabilitated 1800 animals, with our goal to release as many back to the wild as possible. We also give educational programs to the public through fairs at Nature Centers and schools. We have statewide presence and are able to accept bald eagles and other birds of prey throughout the State with our permit from the USFish and Wildlife Service. We answer over 50 calls a day during "baby season" from the public, and are happy to report that over 50% of those are to offer solutions to wildlife problems.
