Pittie in Pink

This wee babe is Julep. She and her brother, Juno, were tragically found huddled against the bodies of their dead mother and another deceased sibling. At 5 weeks old and barely 3 pounds, these precious little souls have already lost so much. They are safe now with Pittie in Pink rescue and receiving the love and care they need, and I am just heartbroken that their momma and sibling were not found in time to be saved, too.

Tiny Julep needs some extra help. Her right rear leg is broken, and we want to try to repair and save it so she doesn't have to lose that, too. The orthopedic team at Nashville Veterinary Specialists has quoted us $5000-$6000 for Julep's surgery. I know this is a long shot because it's so expensive, but we have to try for her. We have only a short window of time to get this done in order for the procedure to have a chance to be successful. This work truly takes a village, and I hope you'll be part of Julep's village.

This sweet girl was hit by a car, which resulted in a badly broken leg. She's been in the kill shelter for 2 weeks and was scheduled to be euthanized today.

Pittie In Pink, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, kindly answered the call and rescued her from that fate.

This fundraiser is to enable Pittie In PInk to have surgery performed on this sweet girl's broken leg by a veterinary orthopedic surgeon.

They were the only one of 20 rescues contacted who took a chance the money could be raised to help her.
