Plants for Patients (P4P)

P4P is looking to raise money to pay for their rent in 2023. Each new year brings an increase in rent and with that, the question of if we should move to a different location that could maybe suit our needs better.

For 10 years P4P has offered compassion, kindness, and love to the people of our community...and now we are asking the same in return! Whether you can donate $20 or $200....all and everything will help us reach our goal!

Just know that whatever location we work out of, you helped with that, and we thank you for it!

When you donate to this fundraiser, you help Plants for Patients continue to serve those in our community who seek care at the Red River Women's Clinic.

As a 100% volunteer-run organization, Plants for Patients' largest expense is rent. We use our space to house and grow all of our plants, as well as pots, materials, merch, and all things P4P.

About P4P:

Plants for Patients is a grassroots organization rooted in community engagement that promotes neighborliness and humanitarianism. The program strives to begin breaking down the social stigmas perpetrated against individuals who have experienced abortion by leveraging the kindness of community to create a network of love and support. Plants for Patients seeks to change the mainstream cultural conversation surrounding abortion by creating a neutral space between pro-choice and pro-life ideology--a space we call pro-compassion.

Plants for Patients builds on social practice art theory as well as research on the effect of nature and plant life in the healing process. People who have had abortions are offered a handmade ceramic planter, a small plant, and a handwritten note of support to promote both emotional and physical healing, and to establish a connection--an anonymous bridge of love and support--with their community.
