Their mission is to help trans youth and adults access necessary, life-saving health and wellness services. Their vision is to create a world where trans and gender diverse people of all ages see a bright, safe future for themselves—living in their authentic truth.

I’ve been one ten Asian American artists selected by the Slants Foundation to create art for a cause that I’m passionate about. This year, I wrote a song about trans rights and worked with Point of Pride to help make a difference for AAPI communities.

Now, we’re sharing our story on national television for a new show called AsianPaCIVICS, airing every Sunday, 5pm-6pm, starting on Nov. 3rd on @crossingstv.

My name is Kit, and I'm a trans 18 year old from New York. I started TAP, the Trans Awareness Project. The aim of my project is to educate trans youth and others on issues relating to transgender individuals. As a senior in high school, I want to be able to leave a legacy for the trans kids still growing up, and be a source of positivity for my community. I hope to make a difference and raise money for Point of Pride, an organization that supports healthcare for trans youth.
