The Pomeranian Club of Central Virginia (PCCV) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Richmond, VA. We have provided services in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. We are dedicated to breed education, promotion, preservation, and the rescue of abandoned or abused Pomeranian's. Our rescue receives Poms surrendered by owners who can no longer care for them, from shelters/kennels, by referral from Animal Control Officers and other situations. Sadly, many of our rescues are received from families after a loved one has passed or gone to a nursing home. The majority are seniors and/or have special needs that require medication and regular vet visits. These tend to be with us long term and are hard to find homes for.
