You assume that there is no issue . . . until YOU are in the thick of it.
In September 2003, I gave birth to my daughter 10 weeks early. It was surreal how quickly my life, my job and my world changed. And we had great insurance and I was fortunate that I was a manager and could take some time off. But we are far from the norm. Its like being in the middle of a hurricane, regardless of your tax bracket.
The struggle truly is real.
A baby in the NICU for weeks or months on end.
A baby home on medical equipment with special needs.
A job can easily be terminated. Medical bills pile up.
A short term grant can help though. That is where we come in.
