Prism Moves is raising money for itself and our friends at Active Children Portland!
Leading up to our inclusive weightlifting meet in July, the Prism Powerpuff Meet, Prism is asking you to support two amazing non-profits that love working together.
The youth of ACP will be attending strength training classes at Prism, with the culmination of their experience being their very first weightlifting competition at Prism Moves!
Prism Moves
Prism Moves was created to fill service gaps in the fitness industry, which historically centers white, thin, cis, heteronormative individuals and rarely makes room for those that do not fit this description, thereby creating a lack of health equity. Women, BIPOC individuals, LGBTQIA2+ individuals, larger-bodied humans rarely have access to fitness spaces that accommodate them and make them feel welcome. We offer free and sliding scale memberships and partner with nonprofits that serve similar populations.
Active Children Portland
Transforming Communities Through Education, Health, and Community.
Active Children Portland offers equitable access to after-school programming centered around academic enrichment, physical wellness, and mentorship in order to empower youth in building healthy communities.
