Meet Chessie, a sweet, young cat under the care of Project Saving Paws. Her foster mom has been providing her with all the love and attention she deserves, but Chessie is currently facing a health scare.

About two weeks ago, Chessie became extremely lethargic (with droopy eyes), showing no interest in eating, drinking, or using the litter box. A visit to the vet revealed that Chessie might have a viral or bacterial infection, as well as anemia. She underwent a thorough physical examination and blood tests.

The vet prescribed antibiotics, but Chessie will need a repeat blood test after her treatment to ensure she's on the road to recovery. Chessie is a sweetheart who deserves to feel her best.

We are raising funds to cover her veterinary bills and ensure she receives the necessary care. Your donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in Chessie's life. Help Juice Get the Dental Care He Desperately Needs!

Juice is a resilient and affectionate boy who has captured the hearts of everyone he meets. Despite living on the streets for years, Juice never lost his trust in people. Unfortunately, his trusting nature led him into a dangerous encounter with a feral cat, resulting in Juice contracting FIV.

Luckily now Juice has been rescued and given the chance at a brighter future. However,

After his initial vet visit we were informed that Juice is suffering from inflamed and painful gums, likely due to stomatitis. Several of his teeth urgently need to be removed to alleviate his suffering and improve his quality of life.

Imagine walking around with your mouth open from the pain – that’s the reality Juice has been living with. While we’ve provided him with temporary relief through antibiotics, he needs our help to receive the vital dental treatment he urgently needs.

Meet Abby, a sweet and beautiful girl who has endured pain for most of her young life. At just a year and a half old, Abby was born with a displaced hip, femur, and knee issues. Sadly, her previous owner neglected her health needs, and when they lost their home and had to move in with family, Abby and her sibling were left homeless, forced to live in a car for three agonizing months. The South Florida heat made their ordeal even more unbearable, with limited access to air conditioning.

When we learned of their situation, we couldn’t stand by. We immediately rescued Abby and her brother, who were both severely underweight and traumatized by their experience. Abby, weighing only 1.5 pounds at 11 months old, bore the brunt of their suffering. Initially, we attributed her slow walking to her past living conditions, but X-rays revealed the extent of her condition: Abby requires bilateral hip and knee surgery.

Despite her pain, Abby has shown incredible resilience, but her mobility is severely limited. She struggles with stairs and being active. Her playful spirit is overshadowed by constant pain. As a young cat with her whole life ahead of her, Abby deserves to live free from suffering.

We’re reaching out for help to cover Abby’s medical costs. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in her journey toward a pain-free life.

Arturo is another very sweet and friendly stray cat that needed our help. He was crying from the pain of the mange and he was struggling to breathe due to his upper respiratory infection . We couldn’t leave this defenseless boy outside to suffer. We had to rescue him, although it meant another medical case that we might not be able to afford. But we have made a commitment to help Arturo. He needed our help and now we need your help Please consider donating towards his medical costs. For now Arturo has already started his treatment for the mange and has been given some antibiotics. We can’t wait to show you his journey to recovery.

We get constant emails calls and messages regarding cats needing help. It’s every day and unfortunately, we cannot help all of them. We don’t have enough resources or fosters. However, we recently received a request to help a Mom cat with four kittens. Two of which were born without a paws on their hind legs!

All the kittens were living outside and the kittens with the deformity were getting skin irritations on their legs because they were walking on concrete without paws so of course we pulled some strings and found a foster for those two kittens. They needed the most help.

We took the kittens to the vet and after a few consultations, the suggestion is to amputate the legs so they will not have issues going forward. Kittens are remarkably resilient and they would do so well living as tripods. We have decided to help these kittens, but we need your help as well

Taking medical cases is no easy task for any rescue. The amputation for these two kittens estimated at about $1000 each. We are going to start fundraising and hope to raise this amount before their surgery.
