Our grants and donations over the past year have given us a huge boost to completing our project!
There are over 1,100 awesome students at Heights Terrace Elem./Middle School that are in need of a playground! You have helped make it happen! Heights Terrace is considered a center city school for students from kindergarten, through 8th grades, situated on the south side of Hazleton, Pennsylvania. The majority of our students come from low-income families, of diverse backgrounds. These deserving children need a safe and fun area to play while at school recess. Everyone knows how important it is for them to have fresh air and exercise for both their physical and mental health, so please continue to donate and share this post. The PTA is reaching out, not only to the local community but the state, the country, and yes, everywhere in the world! Any amount will help, so please find it in your hearts to put the finishing touches on this playground. Photos and will be updated regularly. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
