Eradicating Veteran Homelessness
I AM a Proud US Army OEF Veteran!
Operation Enduring Freedom
This is personal for me, many of our Sisters-In-Arms and our Brother Veterans don't have shelter or a place to call their own. It's been reported that on any given night in our Nation, approximately 35,000 Veterans are outdoors without a home. Over 350,000 Veterans call South Carolina home. However, we too have approximately 350 veterans experiencing homelessness. Our goal is to eradicate homelessness for our Unhoused Veterans in our state, especially our Unsheltered Women Veterans and their children. "Our first priority are Women Veterans and their minor children." As we approach Veterans Day 2024. We're forever grateful for every business and local establishment that wish our Veterans well wishes and heartfelt thank you's each and everyday. "We appreciate you more than words can express." We thank you for the Veterans Day accolades, meals and parades! We're requesting a little extra help on Veterans Day 2024. PTSD Veterans Village currently have a contract on a 68 acre farm in Lee County, SC. This is our future home and together we can acquire, build and develop this safe and secure housing development for our Unhoused and Unsheltered Veterans on this Veterans Day 2024.
"Together, we can make a difference."
