Meds for Ukraine is organizing this fundraiser to finance the purchase of medical equipment for Bogomolets National Medical University, Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Currently, due to traumatic bombings in civilian areas, the hospital has not been able to serve the demand for operations needed, constrained by the lack of equipment.
Currently, due to traumatic bombings in civilian areas, the hospital has not been able to serve the demand for operations needed, constrained by the lack of equipment.
We raised $27,000 to buy:
- a surgical drill system for joint reconstruction,
- wound healing apparatus,
- electric power tool system to cut bone and assist in amputations,
- skin cutting tools, and
- an operating table.
100% OF FUNDS GO TO PURCHASING AND DELIVERING THE EQUIPMENT.
For this particular need, Kera-Med in Poland will provide the surgical equipment and ship it directly to the Bogomolets hospital in Kyiv. Your donations will give the victims of the war the ability to receive life-saving or life-altering operations.
We surpassed our goal in 5 days! Thank you so much for generosity and support!
Now Meds for Ukraine will use any excess funds raised to purchase cancer medicine for the Podolsk Oncology Clinic in Vinnitsa, Ukraine and will move it towards other medical needs that we will continue to identify, procure and deliver for the citizens of Ukraine. Together with Americares, Roche, Sun Pharma, Accord, and Viatris, Meds for Ukraine procured and delivered over $550,000 of cancer medication to the Podolsk Oncology Clinic in Vinnitsa, in its first project to help aid Ukraine since the war started. This resulted in impacting the lives of hundreds of patients and displaced refugees from around Ukraine.

About the Founder
Anya and Babysya Galya (grandmother) in the sunflower fields in Ukraine in June, 2021.
Meds for Ukraine's founder, Anya Albarran, is Ukrainian and lives in the United States with her husband and two daughters. Anya was born and raised in the beautiful town of Nemyriv, Ukraine, surrounded by rolling green hills, flower fields, luscious vegetable gardens, and the love of her family and friends.
Anya could not bear to watch her beautiful country and loving people being destroyed without taking swift action. She started Meds for Ukraine under the charity, R & C Foundation, as a response to the crisis she witnessed.
Anya spent numerous hours working to connect with Ukraine, identify urgent medical needs and come up with creative solutions and/or fundraising to meet those needs.
