Radha Shyam Dham Temple Fundraiser
Hare Krishna Devotees,
Established in 2008, our Radha Shyam Dham is a registered non-profit under IRS Section 501(c)(3) in Irving, Texas. Initially, we started the temple in the hall of a small shopping complex. But with the blessing of Bhagwan Shri Krishna and the support of the local Hindu community, in 2016, we were able to expand into a bigger building with a new moola virat Radha Krishna idol.
Along with various temple services, our temple participates in various charitable activities. We offer prasad to many devotees daily. Especially during Krishna Janmashtami, Jagannath Rath Yatra times, and Vaikunta Ekadasi, we offer prasad to a significant number of devotees. In addition, we work with local charities in Dallas to provide clothes to those in need. We also support those in need through monetary means; this includes paying for rent, food, help with immigration, etc. As a Hindu temple, we firmly believe that it is our duty to provide for the community in times of need through whatever means (spiritual, financial, etc.)
Unfortunately, with the spread of COVID-19 in Dallas County, the number of devotees and donations has greatly decreased. Our only priest (Ishandas Pujari) was also recently hospitalized due to heart complications, leaving the temple with no one to take care of daily services.
This has also halted our attempts to grow our temple into a traditional-style temple. The current building is one that was acquired back in 2016. We hope to construct a hall for various ceremonies and events, remodel the temple's exterior, and pave the space in front of the temple into an actual parking lot. But all of this cannot be done without help and support.
Thank you for your donations; they are greatly appreciated. Your contributions will go towards new priest salaries and future renovations.
Hare Krishna!
