PERSONAL COURAGE Support - Service to Civilian Transition
Overview: With your support we can help get this get this important message in front of current, former and transitioning service members as well as the entire American population. PERSONAL COURAGE is a story all Americans should see about one soldier and his family as he transitions from service to civilian live.

More about the Documentary: PERSONAL COURAGE tells the intimate story of Army veteran, Jeffrey Derma, and his wife, Rebecca Cristina, as their marriage reaches a crossroads. Beginning in the final days of Jeff’s military service and continuing through the next two and a half years, the film captures their relationship as they reacclimate to one another and work to reestablish what it means to live life together, as a family.

From eager anticipation, to naive optimism, from inner turmoil to a love rooted in patience and respect, Jeff and Rebecca take us on their journey with unflinching access. PERSONAL COURAGE captures the trials and triumphs we all face in our lives, powerfully bringing them home through a window into one American family. An inspiring story of pain and grace, love and redemption, PERSONAL COURAGE is a film for anyone who’s ever searched for home and a life filled with purpose.

Helping veterans get back on their feet. No one who wore the uniform of the US Military should ever worry about whether they will have a place to live or whether they can find treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress.

Rags of Honor provides supportive services to military veterans and their families that are either homeless or at-risk. Some of these services include training, education, assistance, and when needed, housing. Rags of Honor is there to meet any critical need a veteran might have to get back them on their feet. The organization also provides much needed support to military caregivers and thethe spouses tasked with caring for our nations heroes. Rags of Honor 1 is saving lives through cutting-edge PTSD Treatment. Suicides among the veteran population are rising again and we are the only veteran non-profit actively funding a procedure called a Stellate Ganglion Block that has proven in over 85% of recipients to greatly reduce, or in most cases completely eliminate, severe Post-Traumatic Stress. We also provide direct support through micro-grants. Our experience having hired over 90 veterans has been that their struggles are both at the micro and macro level. Rags of Honor 1 provides veterans with building blocks for a smooth, seamless transition back to a civilian lifestyle.
