I've been telling myself that I will one day run a marathon. As my 50th birthday approaches, I've decided to begin this training. On many of my runs, I make Lawrence Noble's Yoda statue a destination. I've created a route that will allow me to visit three of the Yoda statues and complete a full marathon.
On July 20, I will start at Summit Skywalker Ranch by Big Rock. From there, I will run through my childhood hills, peaking at Loma Alta and descending into my next stop, Imagination Park in San Anselmo to visit the next Yoda statue. My run will continue to Sausalito, across the Golden Gate Bridge, and finally end at the Yoda statue at Lucasfilm in the Presidio.
This is a charitable run for two charities I hold dear--Rancho Obi-Wan and Hospice by the Bay, now known as By the Bay Health.
Any contribution is appreciated!
