Support Re-Tree BG’s efforts to expand the Tree Canopy of Bowling Green/Warren County, Kentucky!

Trees make our cities livable! Trees provide a long list of benefits to a community: shade and cooling, reduction of air pollution, stormwater runoff control, stress reduction, beautification, habitat for birds and other wildlife, and improved property values. Can you imagine what a community would be like with a scarcity of trees?

Re-Tree BG is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization formed in 2022 with the mission of restoring and expanding the tree canopy of our community. We provide developed trees in 3-7 gallon containers. We are accomplishing our mission by giving out free trees PLUS providing our recipients with free on-site consultation and education on tree species, planting, care and maintenance. Our work is fully funded by donations and grants, and we need your help to keep our work going. We have given out nearly 400 trees to residents and business owners since October 2022, and our trees are thriving in our community.

We are most grateful for your generous donation, the fruits of which will live for years. This campaign will raise funds for our next free tree giveaway which is October 26, 2024, at Preston Miller Water Park in Bowling Green. Any excess funds raised will go straight toward funding our next giveaway in Spring 2025.
