Help ROAR SANTUARY Rebuild After Devastating fire
This morning at 6 AM, Red Orchard Animal Rescue Foundation faced an unimaginable tragedy—a devastating fire that has left us in shock and despair. We have always been dedicated to providing a safe haven for animals in need, but today, we find ourselves facing an uphill battle.
In recent months, we struggled to keep our doors open due to dwindling donations. However, we were fortunate enough to acquire a significant amount of hay, including round and square bales of alfalfa and coastal grasses, to support our donkeys and other animals. Sadly, the fire destroyed our storage room, along with all the hay we had put away for the animals.
We also lost so many supplies , our beloved chicken Donkey’s feed was destroyed, as well as all of our dog and cat crates and their food. Essential supplies that our rescue desperately needs—horse blankets, foal milk, pellets, and crucial medication for Aiyanna, one of our special residents—were taken from us in the blink of an eye, and the loss is heartbreaking.
To make matters worse, we currently have no electricity as it was shut off due to the fire. We urgently need to hire an electrician to disconnect the service from the home so we can run our well and provide water for our animals. We are waiting on their call, but time is of the essence.
We are reaching out to you, our community, for help. Your support can make a significant difference in our recovery. We need funds to replace our lost supplies, restore our ability to care for the animals, and rebuild our facility.
