Fifth Grade Outdoor Environmental Education
Excitement is in the air! The fifth graders at Redmond Elementary are preparing to bundle up in their warm clothes and rainboots to experience the Great Outdoors! As participants of Camp Seymour's Outdoor Environmental Education program, our fifth graders will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on classes and exciting eco-adventures including a zipline, archery, and a wonderous walk through the night.
While attending camp provides students with countless memories that they'll likely hold onto for the rest of their lives, it also provides them with an opportunity to elevate their friendships and develop a greater sense of independence and self-confidence.
In order to ensure that the cost of camp is fully funded, we are calling on our community for aid. We appreciate any and all support of our students as they head out on an adventure of a lifetime! We look forward to sharing words of appreciation from our fifth graders upon our return.
