**In Support of the 16th Annual Race for Grace: A beloved community non-profit under attack. Stand with Reflections of Grace** Read below how one man is trying to destroy a beloved community charity that supports children with pediatric brain cancer.
In the wake of last year's tumultuous Norwin School Board election—a period marked by division and acrimony within our community—we've witnessed the power of unity and the resilience of our collective spirit. The election results were a testament to our community's rejection of fear, hate, and division, as all five candidates associated supported by the authoritarian school board director, Alex Detschelt, were overwhelmingly voted down. This was a clear message that the values of understanding, compassion, and community are paramount to the people of Norwin.
Unfortunately, the divisive rhetoric did not end with the election. Recent developments have seen attempts to undermine one of Norwin's most cherished institutions—the Race for Grace. This beloved annual event, which honors the memory of a local student lost to pediatric brain cancer, has been a beacon of hope and support for children and families facing the unimaginable challenges of this disease. Yet, it has come under attack through the spread of misinformation aimed at damaging its reputation with the intent to dismantle it completely.
In response to these actions, we call upon our community to stand united once again, this time in support of the Race for Grace and the vital cause it represents. We refuse to let the legacy of hate and division tarnish something so inherently good and pure. Instead, we will transform these attempts at division into an opportunity to further our support for children and families battling pediatric brain cancer.
We invite you to join us in making a donation to the 16th Annual Race for Grace. Let's demonstrate the true character of the Norwin community—compassionate, resilient, and united in the face of adversity. Every donation, no matter the size, will not only help support those affected by pediatric brain cancer but also send a powerful message against hate and division.
Together, we can ensure that the Race for Grace continues to be a source of hope, support, and unity. Let's stand as one community, dedicated to uplifting those in need and honoring the memory of those we've lost. Your contribution will make a difference in the lives of many and help silence the voices of division with acts of kindness and generosity.
Thank you for standing with us. Together, we will overcome hate with love, division with unity, and fear with hope. Let's make this year's Race for Grace a resounding success, for the sake of all those in need and in memory of the beautiful spirit that inspired it.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Your Norwin Neighbor
