...So far, we have raised $7,042 through offline donations.  Therefore, we have reduced our giving goal from $35,000 to $27,960 to reflect this giving.  We are truly grateful for all those who support our mission and goal and we thank you and hope that you will share and invite others to support as well.

Rescue, Release, Restore provides powerful, innovative, and life-changing camp programs and we need your help making them accessible to all who wish to attend.  What started over 25 years ago as a camp program for African American boys ages 8-17 called SIMBA (Safe In My Brother’s Arms), has expanded to also include a camp program for African American girls ages 8-17 called SIMSA (Safe In My Sister’s Arms), and a culturally inclusive leadership development program for youth ages 13-16 called MYLA (Multicultural Youth Leadership Academy). 

Your generosity will help Rescue, Release, Restore provide scholarships, transportation assistance, and programming supplies that directly support each of these unique camp experiences.  A gift in support of SendAKid2Camp2019 also sends a message to the children in attendance this summer that they are supported, loved, and encouraged as they step outside their comfort zones, discover their own gifts, and flourish together in community.

For over 20 years, Rescue, Release and Restore, Inc. has worked to meet the needs of youth. We work with the belief that by rescuing gifts, releasing potential and restoring the promise of youth, we transform their self-worth and empower them toward leadership development. Our belief and mission is fulfilled through our -SIMBA (Safe in my Brothers’ Arms), SIMSA (Safe in my Sisters’ Arms), and MYLA (Multicultural Youth Leadership Academy) programs which foster positive self-images through mentoring, conflict resolution, and academic/cultural enrichment. We are seeking to raise $35,000 to help fulfill the promise of our youth. As a donor, you, your church or organization will become a part of our SendaKid2Camp campaign by utilizing your network to help raise $35,000 through July 1, 2018.  We have currently raised $26,750 offline and still need your help to raise the remaining $8,250.
