Quebec International Pee-Wee Tournament
The U12 Blue Reston Raiders team has been selected to attend the Quebec International Pee-Wee
Hockey Tournament in Quebec City, Canada from May 1-8th, 2022. Participation in the tournament
is by invitation only and is an honor that has been extended to only a few teams in the entire Mid-
Atlantic region.
We need your help to enable our players to compete in this once in a lifetime opportunity by helping the
team with registration fees, and travel expenses. The Reston Raiders are a non-profit organization;
therefore your donation is eligible to be tax deductible and directly support the fees associated with the
Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament.
The Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament, which is also called the “Pee-Wee World
Championships” is equivalent to the Little League World Series of Baseball and is the most prestigious
under-18 hockey tournament in the world. The Tournament is in its 62nd year and has hosted more
than 5,000 teams from around the world. As of 2021, the event showcased the talent of more than
1,296 future professionals in the National Hockey League or the World Hockey Association. The
Championships allow 144 teams from around the world to enjoy an unforgettable experience
representing their countries on the international stage and has included 20 countries in the last
Tournament. The Raiders are proud to represent the United States and Virginia in 2022 and, in its
division, the team will be joined by teams from across Canada, the United States, as well as from
Romania and Switzerland. Other countries sending teams include the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia,
Hungary, Austria, and Japan.
We are very proud of this remarkable accomplishment by our team members. It is a learning experience
and an honor they will cherish for the rest of their lives.
The players and their families appreciate your support immensely. Without the community behind us it
would be very difficult to make this happen. Thank you for helping us make our “hockey dreams” come
