To implant firmly in the boys and girls of the community the ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, comradeship, and respect for not only their parents' but for persons of authority. To guide them on becoming well adjusted, stronger, and happier children, (both physically and mentally), so as to help them grow to be decent, healthy, and trustworthy adults and citizens.
