Downtown Ripon Festive Lighting Project
Dear Ripon Friends...
Ripon Main Street, along with downtown business and property owners, is working to create a more festive atmosphere in the historic district. I am excited to announce that we will begin installing a Festive Lighting System above Watson Street in the coming weeks. The total cost to install the LED lighting system is anticipated to amount to approximately $15,000.
A series of guide wires will be stretched across the 200 and 300 blocks of Watson Street above the second story windows. New LED energy efficient lights will illuminate the district throughout the year. The goal is to unveil the new lighting system during Scooping the Loop which takes place on Saturday, August 7, 2021. We need your help to raise the funds to complete this and other downtown beautification projects.
Ripon Main Street, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit downtown revitalization organization dedicated to restoring the vitality of the central business district by enhancing our community identity and heritage, fostering a center of activity, and ensuring economic stability through concentrated efforts in organization, promotion, design and economic development.
