Robert Goddard Montessori Parent Teacher Student Association

Hello RGMS community, it's that time of the year again that we are raising funds for the Arts Integration program for 2019. 

InterAct Story Theatre will conduct a creative drama and responsive playmaking/devising residency with three core groups of students at Robert Goddard Montessori School. In this residency, led by InterAct Story Theatre’s Artistic Director Ali Oliver-Krueger, students will explore a curricular text or topic using InterAct Story Theatre’s artistic inquiry processes, and engage in a collaborative devising process to create original stories, dramatic scenes, and musical pieces inspired by their artistic exploration of said curricular text or topic. The grant also comes with a performance from InterAct Story Theatre called Not My Monkey. This performance focuses on the themes of community action and citizenship and is interactive and participatory.  The program will focus on lower elementary, possibly upper elementary as well, and will include a school-wide performance before winter break.

We are looking to raise $1400 this year to cover the match Arts Integration grant and associated fundraising fees before 11/20.  Your support of the program is greatly appreciated!
