Rochester Police Foundation, Inc.

The Rochester Police Locust Club and Rochester Police Foundation are working together to raise money for the family left behind by Lt. Aaron Colletti.

Tragically, Lieutenant Aaron Colletti died after being struck by a car while biking in Canandaigua. Lt Colletti was a 21 year veteran of the Rochester Police Department and was the sole provider for his family. He was a devoted father, husband, and brother. He leaves behind a wife, Tammy, and 4 children - Noble, Jaden, Emily, and Ella.

Lt. Colletti was deeply religious and a man of great integrity and principle. He will be missed.

We are saddened at the passing of Officer Manny Ortiz, a 22 year veteran of the Rochester Police Department, in a tragic accident on Saturday, November 2. Ortiz served in the Community Affairs Bureau as a crime prevention officer and was well known in the community.

Officer Ortiz leaves behind a fiancee and three children. The military, the police department, the sheriff's office, or the fire department. These are all people defending us, protecting us, When something tragic happens to them - there are two things we need to do. We honor them, but also make sure that we're taking care of their families the way they took care of our families.
