Our website www.rockriverfoundation.org details the myriad of educational, financial, entertainment, inspirational, sporting and fun filled ways we initiate, lead and finance to create an impact felt across the community.

The Leisa Glispy Scholarship Award
The Leisa Glispy Scholarship Award has been launched to honour Leisa who was a Charter Member of the Rock River Foundation Board of Advisors. Leisa was also a long time huge supporter of RRF donating her time, expertise and funds in abundance.

She loved her Rock River roots and pounced on the idea of helping the people in the community. She was intricately involved in the launching of the Rock River Foundation, serving as one of our first Board Members. She was responsible for developing our first website and for designing our current logo.

This award will be used to provide a scholarship to support Rock River pupils, whose known potential is being restricted or threatened by financial constraints, as they move from Rock River Primary School to secondary education.

The scholarship programme which now boast 26 scholarships has been hugely successful; not only in terms of the number of children who have received financial help but also because of a commitment to monitor and enhance the progress of the beneficiaries from when they start secondary school in Grade 7, and for the next five years, until they get to Grade 11.
