Save 30,000 Turtles with West Bend Rotary
We are a 100-year-old Rotary Club in West Bend, Wisconsin. We have 100 years of working to create jobs, create small businesses, provide youth scholarships, improve public parks, preserve historic buildings, and support the eradication of polio and prior projects to save turtle eggs for release in the ocean. Our work takes place in the US as well as India and El Salvador.
Our current project takes us to El Espino, Usulután, El Salvador. Turtle eggs are eaten by the village residents. But with our Rotary project, along with their help, we can release 30,000 newborn turtles into the Pacific Ocean in 2025.
