There’s a fundamental truth that gives us hope – that together we can do extraordinary things.
GivingTuesday on November 29th. In honor of this global giving movement, a generous donor has offered to give a dollar-for-dollar match up to $5,000 to raise $10,000 total for YOUR United Way on this important day.

THE IMPACT YOUR DOLLARS MAKE
$32 — Provides nutritious meals for a family of 4 for one day
$88 — Allows a local public school student access to mental health counseling, reducing stress levels and improving education
$116 — Gives a senior the freedom to go to leisure activities and doctor appointments for an entire year
$250 — 1 family receives utility assistance to prevent them from living in a substandard housing situation
$430 — Changes 1 individual's life through a job readiness and placement program
$670 — Provides an uninsured veteran access to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Treatment which includes counseling, medication management, a peer support group and case management
$1,000 — Ensures that a Rowan County citizen remains in housing for one month through rent assistance
$1,200 — Gives 104 school-age children and family members an opportunity to receive afterschool education, support and resources for healthier lifestyle choices
$1,376 — Instills 12 youths with morals, leadership and self confidence through positive adult mentors, outdoor activities and volunteering
