Runway of Dreams Foundation is a nonprofit organization that works toward a future of inclusion, acceptance and opportunity in the fashion industry for people with disabilities.
One billion people worldwide experience some form of disability. Since adaptive apparel is so underrepresented in mainstream fashion, it is difficult for many to find clothing that meets both their physical needs and personal style. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable and confident in clothing they love, despite their shape, size, or ability.
As interns, our goal is to raise money to provide new adaptive apparel through wardrobe grants to people with disabilities who are in economic need. Clothing equals confidence, and your contribution will help provide it. Please donate here to make a difference in someone’s life.
Due to the pandemic, and in preparation for Runway of Dream’s September NYFW Show, the summer interns are working hard to create a completely virtual adaptive fashion show called
“Record the Runway” that will air
August 4th at
8pm EST! Tune in to meet our spectacular models, hear their stories, learn how adaptive apparel is impacting their lives, and how it can benefit people with disabilities around the world.
