Want to join me in making a difference? For the past 5 years, Hubbardton Forge has raised money to benefit the Rutland County Humane Society and with the current COVID regulations, causing many of us to work from home, this year we are going remote with our annual fund raiser. All donations will go directly to the Human Society of Rutland County, and help to make an impact for those without voices of their own. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

Help Artie Run and Play Pain-Free Again
Artie Pupdate for 9/20

Great news! Artie’s first hip surgery was a success and everything went great! He’s back with his loving fosters after making friends with the clinic staff. A huge thank you to everyone who’s donated so far, to the veterinarians and staff who performed surgery, and to his amazing fosters for keeping him comfy and cared for. We’re one step closer to getting Artie back on all his feet!

Artie still has a long road ahead of him, so please consider donating and sharing his story so we can continue to provide Artie with the care he needs to recover.

Help Artie Run Free Again!

Meet Artie! He was surrendered to RCHS by his previous owner due to a family member’s allergies. Artie was very timid when he first arrived, but after some time in a wonderful foster home, he is slowly learning to trust people. He loves to run around with his canine friends, but there's one thing holding him back: actually, there are two; both of his hips need surgery.

Artie loves to play and explore, but his hips can’t keep up, leaving him in pain. Despite this discomfort, he still tries to keep up with his doggy friends.

Here’s our plan for our pal, Artie. His first hip surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, September 17th, followed by a 3-4 month recovery and strengthening period, before tackling the second hip. It’s a long road, but with your support, Artie can get the care he needs and come out ready to live pain-free.

Artie is currently in foster care, where he’s loved and his pain is being managed, but he longs to run and play. Please help us raise the $7,000 needed to give him the gift of mobility and a future without discomfort. Every dollar brings us closer to seeing Artie thrive again.

Any donations we receive over our fundraising goal will directly benefit other homeless animals in need of medical care at RCHS.

We will keep you updated throughout his journey to recovery. Thank you for being a part of it.
