SACRED HEART SCHOOL - A Beacon of Faith and Learning

We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to aid us in our preservation, systems upgrades and restoration of our beloved Sacred Heart School Campus, a place where faith, education, and community have come together for many generations.

Our school has been a cornerstone of Taftville for over 135 years, nurturing young minds and fostering spiritual growth. As we all have experienced, Father time has touched our complex, like all structures of age, our buildings are in need of restorations to preserve the greatness that had been the pride of Taftville since 1909.

We need your help to ensure that we can continue to provide the most safe, nurturing, spiritual environment for our cherished students. We are looking forward to commencing projects for modernizing our systems to make the complex more energy efficient and above all, providing a more comfortable, challenging environment for our future minds to flourish.

The Need:

Our school building, which has been standing strong for decades, is showing signs of its age. From the roof to the foundation, various critical repairs have been proposed to keep our school safe and operational. The most urgent repairs include:

• School Heating System: To provide reliable, energy efficient heating

• HVAC Upgrades: To provide efficient heat & cooling of our Parish Life Center.

• Electrical System Upgrades: Maintain compliance with safety standards.

• Classroom Renovations: To create a conducive learning environment.

The estimated cost to initiate these essential repairs is $68,000. Although this is a significant amount, we are working with several contractors also contributing a great deal of their own time and materials to our foundation.
