To inspire and enable the young people of East Los Angeles and the surrounding communities to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens and to support their families in this effort.
Every year we serve around 200+ children and young people. Every year we come short around 15k - 20k, meaning we have to find donors who can help us to cover these costs. Nonetheless, we never send anyone home because of money. We welcome all the children, especially those who are in need.
Thanks to Camp Salesian, we have provided a safe environment for the children of our community. This safe environment has helped develop social and emotional skills in our children and young people; with these skills, they can return to school and succeed.
