PLEASE HELP US REBUILD SARKONEDU SCHOOL

PLEASE HELP US REBUILD A STORM RAVAGED SCHOOL.
ALL DONOR FUNDS ARE GOING DIRECTLY TO REBUILD THE SCHOOL.
The proposed new school is estimated at $240K USD.
The citizens of SARKONEDU have committed to pay $110K USD in labor, local materials, admin costs, and service fees.
On April 28, 2021, a deadly tropical storm completely damaged the only school in Sarkonnedu Town, located in Lofa County, northern Liberia, leaving nearly 1,000 students out of school.
The storm also damaged numerous private homes and displaced hundreds, including students and their family members.
WHY YOUR HELP IS NEEDED
After the advent of COVID-19, and an extremely difficult year that kept students out of school around the world, the pandemic proved especially challenging for students in rural Liberia where all educational activities were halted for nearly a year with the only access to education being ‘radio-schooling.
Even then, many students in rural communities like Sarkonedu could not participate in radio-schooling due to lack of infrastructure and resources - no electricity, no money, no radio, or no money to buy batteries for the radio.
Like many rural and impoverished communities in Liberia, Sarkonnedu's 10,000 residents are mostly subsistence farmers who survive on less than $1/day.
COMING TOGETHER FOR A WORTHY CAUSE
Since education of the youth is one of the solid foundations of any society, the citizens of Sarkonedu, under the banners of the Sarkonnedu Development Organization Inc. (SDO. Inc. - a U.S based 501c3 organization) and her sister organization in Liberia (SDO, Liberia), hereby commit to REBUILDING THE STORM RAVAGED SARKONEDU SCHOOL.
The people of Sarkonedu commit to supporting the process by providing labor and manpower, and they are asking for donations to pay for building materials and professional support.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Please donate generously (no amount is small), share the link with your families and friends, and encourage them to donate to this worthy cause.
With your help, the Sarkonedu School will be rebuilt better and faster!!!
Thank you!
