Sedro-Woolley Rotary Foundation

Pat was an active board member of the Sedro-Woolley Rotary Club and had a dream about building a playground at Janicki Fields as a Rotary project.  As the youngest of 5 kids, Pat often had to tag along and watch his older siblings' sporting events.   As an adult, while watching his niece play softball, he noticed the siblings of the athletes playing in the gravel behind the backstop and empathized with them. He envisioned a playground so that the kids would have a place to play besides in the dirt. 

Unfortunately, Pat did not get to realize his dream because he lost his battle with addiction in August of 2017(obituary) 
Now, we have a chance to build Pat's Playground.  Pat's dad, Mike Janicki, recently became the President of the Sedro-Woolley Rotary Club and is committed to making Pat's Playground a reality. 


The money raised in this gofundme will be used to purchase the playground equipment.  The site work, labor, equipment, and all other needs are being donated by Rotary and the local community.  The site at Janicki Fields belongs to the Sedro Woolley School District and will be available for all to use year-round. 

Patrick always said that you have to "make fun happen".  Please take this opportunity to make fun happen for kids in Sedro Woolley for generations to come. Any amount helps and all donations are tax deductible.
