Moving Forward Together
Thank you to everyone for making this years' Kagami Biraki the best ever! Members came from across the tri-state area and beyond to help celebrate. The excitement and joy to find ourselves in our new home was palpable as our KIAI's bellowed out onto 30th Street inviting the New Year into our home with true Seido Spirit!!!
We are thrilled to announce that construction on our new home has begun. We are extremely grateful to all of you for your energy, your talent, and your support from the heavy lifting and the many hours devoted to the move and the set up of our temporary space to helping our new members share in the excitement and joy of being part of the Seido Community and also to reflect upon our history.
Last September, as we prepared to embrace our new beginning, we invited Kaicho and Nidaime to join us in conversation about our history and the future of Honbu. As we honor our past, we take stock of what makes Seido so special; the deep roots which support our worldwide family grow stronger when we work together, generation upon generation.
Candid, unscripted, and unfiltered, our conversation was recorded at Johshin Honzan on September 7. We are excited to share the first segment with you now.
