Echo Theater Company Holiday Fundraiser
Hey you! Welcome to the Echo Theater Company’s GoFundMe! If you watched the video, you pretty much know our deal: we’re a playwright-oriented theater company who puts on “ballsy original plays”, in the words of LA Weekly. If you didn’t watch the video, go watch the video! We’ll be here.
Okay, now that you’re up to speed, we need your help to fund production costs for the company! We have a phenomenal season of premieres coming up in 2019. Sarah DeLappe’s The Wolves, was a Pulitzer Prize finalist and will receive its LA premiere at the Echo in March. We also have the West Coast premiere of Pass Over by Antoinette Nwandu, which was hit at both Steppenwolf and Lincoln Center. Rounding out our season is Erik Patterson’s return to the Echo with his play Hand Job, which will receive its world premiere.
Our fundraising goal is $7500 to go towards lighting, sound, set and costumes for our wonderful directors and actors to work and play in, which is a huge deal for us as “the go-to place in [Los Angeles] for symbiotic ensemble acting” (at least, the LA Times thinks so).
Of course, no good deed goes unpunished, so we have a punishing list of perks for you, our lovely donors. Check those out below!
$1: Our undying love and appreciation!
$5: Our undying love and appreciation and a shout-out on our Facebook page
$10: Our undying love and appreciation and a personal shout-out on our Facebook page
$25: $10 perk and a coupon for 2 drinks at our concession stand
$40: $10 perk and a coupon for 2 drinks and 2 snacks
$50: $10 perk, 1 ticket to any show, and a coupon for 1 drink and 1 snack

$100: $10 perk, 2 tickets to any show, a coupon for 2 drinks, a signed poster, and an invitation to the 1st read-through of the play
$150: $100 perk and an invitation to the invited dress rehearsal
If you’ve read this far or landed on this page at all, it’s likely that you know and love someone who loves the Echo. This holiday season, please consider giving to the Echo and helping us continue to do what we love. You’ve heard so many reasons why we think our work is important, and hopefully you have your own. Come see us soon! We’d love to have you.
With love from all the Echoistas this holiday season!
