The Sharing Foundation

Join us to help make the holiday's brighter for 500 children from deserving families right here in Anne Arundel County this year.

The Sharing Foundation is a Nonprofit 501(c)(3) Organization whose purpose is to assist the working needy and special situation families in Anne Arundel County. These are working families, so they do not qualify for government assistance. Despite their best efforts, many of these families are barely able to supply the basics for their children. Money is often hard to come by for the extras, such as children’s books, school supplies, nice presents to open on Christmas morning, and other small things that most of us take for granted. With your assistance we can provide some of these extra items for these families that are trying so hard to help themselves.

Through our partnership with the Anne Arundel County Public Schools and many businesses, organizations, and individuals in our community, we are able to provide school supplies and Christmas Presents to over 500 children each year. Since 1992, The Sharing Foundation’s volunteers have worked to make life better for deserving local working families.

Please consider joining us in our mission to support the children of hard working families that are struggling to make ends meet right here in Anne Arundel County. While The Sharing Foundation is entirely run by volunteers, we still need money to purchase toys, games, sporting equipment and school supplies for the children we help. We also need money to pay for our warehouse, which is critical to supporting our mission. By having our warehouse, we're able to accept donations of toys and school supplies all year, helping us prepare for our giving season.

Rest assured that our board of directors are very focused on making the very most out of each and every donation we receive. I want to stress that nobody affiliated with The Sharing Foundation receives any financial compensation for their work. This allows us to focus all of the money we receive directly into supporting our programs.
