Sharon Community Chamber Orchestra

Hello! With only a few years of running under my feet, I am not at all a master-runner. I ran a few halves and 16 "milers" but  Newport Rhode Races marathon is going to be my first. So, it will be a trial. I am a musician and a teacher, and by running this race, I want to raise money for the Easton Chamber Music Festival that is going to take place on June 25-27, 2021 in Easton, MA.

Being physically cut off from each other for more than a year, musicians and the audience alike are starving for the opportunity to re-start their musical experiences in-person. Established in the area of the country where its musical tradition goes back to 1786(!), the ECMF took place for the first time in 2016 and since then, except for the last year, returns for a short but intense weekend of free concerts for the community and a workshop for adult musicians. With authority, though with the utmost caution for the well-being of our musicians, students, and listeners, the ECMF looks forward to saying "ENOUGH!" to the pandemic that has been so challenging for everyone. We are ready to bring the chemistry of live chamber music performance and learning back to our lives. I hope that with the money raised during this marathon we will be able to accomplish just that.  Please find more about our festival here, and thank you!
