Shining Light Homes

We are raising money to benefit Shining Light Homes, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.

 

Shining Light Homes has been birthed from a vision to empower young mothers who are experiencing difficult times to become successful mothers raising healthy, well-adjusted children on their own when there is little to no support from family or the father of the baby. We help our mothers to become self-sufficient productive citizens having the essentials such as a home, an upward mobile job, child care, and transportation. We provide education and training, counseling, goal setting, and more.

 

Over the weekend, on Saturday Oct 9th our office was broken into and vandalized. Many of our resources such as diapers and wipes, and clothing were taken. This is what our moms depend on from our LifeLine program. Other items such as our laptop computers (10), office phone, projector, 45" flat screen TV and DVD player which we depend on for our Light of Discovery Educational program were also taken. In addition, almost all our office supplies and cleaning supplies were taken.

 

Any assistance to help us recover from this tremendous loss so we can continue to break the cycle would be greatly appreciated.
