Skid Row Brigade Inc

Skid Row Brigade, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, whose mission is "to promote community development by establishing an environment of safety and wellness, creating employment and economic opportunities and provide relief to the poor and underprivileged."

We are raising funds to support the Brigade's Community Engagement Program. The goal of the Community Engagement Program is to promote community development and provide social assistance by encouraging equitable access to resources in disenfranchised communities.

Skid Row Brigade bridges the gap between service providers and disenfranchised communities. We partner with organizations and entities to serve our community by providing resources and services, such as employment, job training, housing information, food and clothing distribution, and positive programing.

The Community Engagement program conducts monthly resource fairs which includes a basketball skills clinic for the youth, art instruction, mentorship, tutoring and additional resources such as social services assistance, and food and clothing distribution.

The funds will be used to support the program's ability to provide employment opportunities, community incentives, venue and permit fees and to purchase supplies, food and beverages during its monthly resource fairs.
