This Diwali, bring the light of education to families in need in Northeast India by supporting our foundational literacy and numeracy program. Shockingly, over 50% of rural Indian children in fifth grade struggle to read a basic second-grade text or do simple math calculations. Your contribution can make a real difference in helping close this education gap.
Join us in a transformative mission to improve foundational literacy and numeracy for 4,500 students in rural Meghalaya. Smart Village Movement, in partnership with Madhi Foundation, is launching a critical initiative to ensure these children build the essential academic skills needed for their future.

81% of grade 3 children cannot solve grade 2 level subtraction.
73% of grade 3 students cannot read a grade 2 text.
