Ignite Innovation: Support GCU Motorsports
GCU Motorsports is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, student-run organization at Grand Canyon University. Our mission? To design, build, test, and race Formula 1-style vehicles for the international Formula SAE Competition. Open to all majors, our team empowers students with hands-on experience in engineering, design, and project management.

Founded in 2018, we’ve overcome challenges and grown from a small group to over 80 dedicated members. In June 2025, we aim to compete in Formula SAE Michigan, showcasing a vehicle that reflects the hard work, skills, and passion of our entire team.
