Special Equestrians of Georgia, based in Milton, GA, USA, is a 501c3 non-profit program that provides equine-assisted therapy for teenagers and adults with mental health challenges. Horses possess an innate ability to help heal those suffering from depression, trauma, anxiety, PTSD and mood diorders. Through equine-assisted therapy provided by Special Equestrians of Georgia, Kayla has put her life back on track, after having narrowly escaped the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, September 11, 2001. Recently with everything going on with COVID-19 Stacey the owner of SEOG has pleaded the struggle financially. She has had to stop lessons due to the safety of her students.  I know our horse community is huge and always wanting to help so I wanted to make this page available for those to donate. Stacey helps with therapeutic riding, hippotherapy and equine-assisted psychotherapy. She loves what she does but without OUR help she’s going to have to re home a lot of animals due to no income. Please help her be able to keep all of the horses. She loves them dearly and will need them when lessons pick back up to keep SPOG going!
