Help us #GiveWarmth to 1,000 Syrian refugee families & displaced/in-dire-need families still in Syria.
The crisis in Syria continues to escalate with renewed violence, causing millions upon millions of Syrians to get uprooted. Due to the very volatile conditions of conflict, people fled their homes under high duress and with very little possessions. They do not have access to warm clothing, blankets or heating fuel. The need for care is tremendous.
We hope to equip thousands of families to cope with the harsh winter extremities. Our staff in Syria and Jordan will be purchasing local supplies to create care packages that will contain (depending on the individual family’s needs): a foam mattress; a hygiene kit filled with soap, shampoo, toothpaste, detergent and towels; a rug; two blankets; winter clothing for children, including thermal pajamas, sweaters and jackets; and a food basket filled with enough food to feed a family of five to seven people for one month.
