St. Paul Central Sports Boosters

Please support Central Boys Tennis with a donation to the booster fund for team needs,

including equipment, indoor practices, team snacks, and an end of the year banquet.

Our goal is to raise $2,500 by the end of the 2024 season. Tax deductible donations

are directed to the Tennis Fund with the St. Paul Central Sports Boosters, a 501(c)(3)

non-profit organization.

Dion was a charismatic young man who loved family, friends, playing sports, and mentoring others.

Please help carry on his legacy by donating to the Dion Ford Athletic Scholarship fund to help other youth achieve their greatest potential, which Dion would have been proud of.

Our goal is to provide $5,000 of assistance to St. Paul Central Athletes of color, every year for the next ten years.   Anything you can do will help level the playing field for our inner city youth. 

We are the St Paul Central Boys Volleyball Club, the THUNDER, and this is our first ever second consecutive season. We had a great time last season representing our school and community and made it all the way to the state tournament! Boys volleyball is the fastest-growing team sport at our school and many more boys have shown interest this year.

The program is strong, we have great coaches and participants, families and volunteers and our sport was recently recommended for sanctioning by the MNHSL, but it is still only recognized as a club and as such we do not receive ANY financial support from the school, and we MUST secure the future sustainability of the program. The school's Athletic Office has graciously lent its support with gym space and the girls' program shares its equipment with us as ours is limited, we also borrow space at Jimmy Lee Rec Center for open gyms and practice, but we are in dire need of funds to pay our coaches (Varsity & JV), pay the league registration and tournaments fees, procure uniforms, and replace our equipment. We have put our best hand forward and want to continue passing, setting and spiking more volley balls for Central but we can only do it with our community support! Please consider making an end of the year contribution to secure the future of our program, there is NO small amount, and you can help us by donating, sharing, spreading the word and coming to our games, we will reward you with our ongoing effort and commitment ;)
