Jean Bir Boxes of Joy
Jean passed away July 5th from liver disease, at the age of 62. In her honor, we are hoping to expand the program she really put her heart into - Boxes of Joy.
This program fills shoe boxes with toys, hygiene products, clothes, etc to send to under privileged children and schools in Central and South America so they can celebrate Christmas.
Last year, Jean helped us to create almost 300 Boxes to send and this year her goal was 500. She spent all year planning, shopping, and discussing this charity so we are hoping this will be a great way to honor her memory, helping her continue to spread cheer like she always did.
Anything is appreciated and reaching our goal would make sure her memory and love was sent to hundreds of people around the world.
