Maxey needs your help!
Maxey needs your help! She has severe pneumonia and is critically ill. She has stopped eating and, due to her decline, was admitted to the hospital 11/23. She is in intensive care.

Maxey is a complicated case, as she has FeLV and was not responding to the antibiotics provided by the rescue. Her little body is having a difficult time fighting off this infection. The vet hospital is doing bloodwork, administering a variety of intravenous antibiotics and conducting diagnostic testing. We are hopeful that this intervention will be successful. Your donations for Maxey’s care could literally be lifesaving.

Parsnip Needed Emergency Surgery!
Dear supporters,

We urgently need your help for Parsnip, a sweet kitty who had to undergo emergency surgery to correct a recurrent rectal prolapse. Her foster mom was terrified as Parsnip was in severe distress, and we had to act immediately to alleviate her suffering.

Parsnip has had a rough start in life. She previously needed to have an eye removed, and despite her resilience, she has endured three rectal prolapses. Our veterinarians managed to fix the previous issues with minimally invasive procedures, but this time, the situation was far more serious.

Parsnip required an invasive colpopexy to provide her with the relief she desperately needed. We are now reaching out to you, our compassionate community, to help cover the costs of this emergency surgery.

With your support, we can ensure that Parsnip gets the care she needs to heal and find her forever home with a special person who will love her unconditionally.

The mission of Stray Cat Blues Inc. is to rescue stray and abandoned cats and kittens primarily located in areas of Montgomery, Bucks and other suburban Philadelphia counties and find them safe and appropriate homes. We envision a community where our cat population is controlled through spaying or neutering, and all cats and kittens have safe places to live and thrive. Our Strategy We provide volunteer foster homes to help socialize the rescues and prepare them for adoption. We provide micro-chip and spay or neuter, and any necessary veterinary treatment to all fosters before adoption. We ensure that all potential adopters are properly screened and prepared to care for the adopted cat(s) long term. We actively encourage Trap Neuter Return (TNR) of feral cats.
